Frontline on PBS has done a nice job wrapping up the main issues about our involvement in Afghanistan and Pakistan. They, of course, don't get to the central issue which is why we're in the country at all. After all, our initial reason, 9/11, is in doubt since the 9/11 mission was apparently planned in Germany, and undertaken mainly by Saudis. There's no credible evidence that Bin Laden had anything to do with 9/11, and, anyway, the Taliban offered to have him extradited to stand trial in a neutral country if we could provide any evidence as to his guilt.
