Terry Gross interviewed Seymour Hersh on Fresh Air, her NPR interview program, recently. Hersh describes the secret Presidential Finding requesting abour $400 million for covert actions inside Iran. Funding of covert operations requires Congressional approval. Despite reservations about language calling for the allowance of "defensive lethal actions" Congress went along and approved the operations late last year. It's an interesting and disturbing story.
