Actually, in a real sense, I suspect he is. It's curious that we've not caught him. We certainly were familiar with Tora Bora, the system of caves that housed his fighters. The CIA funded it's construction, work which was carried out by the Bin Laden construction company. We had the plans for the place, and yet never got Osama. Indeed, in the wonderfully documented book "The War on Truth" the author relates a tale of a huge caravan of cars and trucks that left Afghanistan early in our invasion and entered Pakistan. The caravan took hours to pass and must have been visible to US satellites and aerial surveylance (particularly as the cars passed by into the evening when the string of headlights must have been spectacularly visible. Bin Laden was reported to be in that caravan which went unchallenged. The following short video reveals what many muslims believe about the topic.
