Lowfill died today, Sunday August 3rd, 2008, early in the morning. John, her owner and our room mate was with her when she passed. I've only known Lowfill for a few months. She was a German wirehaired pointer, and a bit funny looking. Still, she barely showed her 13 years, and had a real twinkle in her eye. She was very clever. She loved to fetch, so much so that there was rarely any peace from her incessant fetch requests. She had great enthusiasm and a powerful love of people. Marianne and I will miss Lowfill. John will miss her even more. Rest in peace, Lowfill.
