Exponentnial Growth and the Economy

Dr. Albert Bartlett, emeritus professor of physics at the University of Colorado at Boulder explains the consequences of exponential growth. This is a stunning lecture which starts slowly and then turns riveting. You won't see growth in the same light ever again. Have a look.

I enjoyed seeing (listening to, actually) this in class. In the same vein is Chris Martenson's Crash Course, a 19 part (the 20th part is a waste of time and shouldn't be included) examination of the inter-relation of the economy, energy, and the environment, and how exponential growth is setting us up for incredible challenges.
